Formulation chemistry is an odd one. It’s part science, part art. Broadly speaking, it’s not taught at degree level and it can feel daunting to the graduate or school leaver finding themselves in an industrial role.
I’ve trained up many successful formulation chemists who have gone on to make a meaningful impact on the business and industry, but I’ve also provided entry level training to many non-technical sales, marketing and purchasing colleagues, equipping them to approach their roles with more confidence. And I love it.
